A bit about me:

I am an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education and Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of Environmental Education (Guest Editor of CJEE-17). I teach courses at the undergraduate (BEd), masters and doctoral levels in urban Aboriginal education, culturally responsive approaches, digital and socio-technical issues in education, foundations of curriculum, qualitative research methods, and critical theories. I have researched and written on topics such as critical environmental education, research as reconciliation, Indigenizing environmental education, and multimodal qualitative research methodologies such as photo/video-voice. My overarching goal in all that I do – teaching, research and service- is to work with others to actively improve the Aboriginal-non-Aboriginal relationship on this land through education-as-reconciliation.  Miigwetch.
